Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City arrival (D)
Arriving at Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City, you'll be met and driven to your hotel. After checking in, you'll be free for a preliminary wander around the hustle and bustle streets of this busy city. You will spend the night in a hotel.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City Tour (B, L, D)
Today, you will have a guided tour around Ho Chi Minh City. You will visit the Notre Dama Catholic Church which is designed in France and built in 1877 under French architecture. You will then visit the nearby Main Post Office, which also is a masterpiece of French colonial architecture. The next stop will be the Jade Emperor Temple. It's one of the best Taoist temples in Vietnam, with superb effigies, remarkable carved panels of the descent to Hell and somewhat incongruous terrapin and tortoise sanctuaries.

After lunch, you will visit the Museum of War Remnants provides a very partial, but riveting, perspective of the 'American War': not for the squeamish! You will then stop by the huge Ben Thanh market, one of the liveliest areas of Ho Chi Minh City, is packed with every conceivable commodity. You'll finish your day with a visit to a lacquer workshop to see the complex processes and meticulous workmanship involved in this traditional Vietnamese craft product. You'll spend the night in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City/Vinh Long/Can Tho (B, L, D)
A morning drive will take you to Vinh Long where a Mekong River cruise will take you to visit the fruit orchards, a traditional family-run brick kiln, and some long established cottage industries. You'll drive further into the Mekong Delta to Can Tho where you'll spend the night.

Day 4: Can Tho/Rach Gia/Phu Quoc (B, L, D)
After breakfast and a boat cruise you'll arrive at Cai Rang floating market on the Mekong Delta. After that, you will be driven to Rach Gia in good time to board the mid-afternoon high-speed boat to Phu Quoc Island where you will spend the night.

Day 5 to Day 6: Phu Quoc free (B)
Your time will be on the beach!

Day 7: Phu Quoc/Ho Chi Minh City departure (B)
Free time until transferred to the airport for your departure flight. Tour ends.
